I have been a teacher and facilitator for over fifteen years now working creatively in every kind of context and this is what I know for sure…when we design safe spaces where people can show up and create authentically, magic happens.

We truly underestimate the potency of play and our own capacity to be creative, no matter how old we are.

My belief is that we are all creative. We can all write, and sing, and dance and draw – it’s just our proficiency that varies. Too many people don’t do the things they enjoy because they don’t feel good enough to do them. And I think this is total bullshit. Life is tricky and messy enough without withholding our joy.

So, let’s make some magic, huh?

I’ve created Play Date as a reprieve, a space for you to play, create, and make stuff for joys sake. A sparkly space where you can take two hours away from the chaos of life and devote them to joy, silliness, and play.

This is an investment in feeling good, in using your imagination, in being creative, in day dreaming and taking time out for yourself.
